More Than Just Pet People
Dogs Day Out and Stay was created for one single reason - to provide dogs and pet parents the service, care, and support they need and deserve. Since being established we proudly serve the Vancouver Island Fur Parents + surrounding area and love to open our doors every day with a smiling team. Boarding
Myself & my spouse Steven ensure that your loved one feels comfortable and relaxed. Whether it’s their first Boarding experience, or they’re seasoned regulars, their wellbeing is central to everything we do. We love them like our own and treat them like the extended family they are.
We use stainless steel bowls to feed the dogs and would prefer that guests keep their bowls at home to prevent dishes getting mixed up with ours when it’s time to leave.
Labeling your dogs food and scoop is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance.
1 Dog Rate - $60.00 per night
2 Dog Rate - $80.00 per night
3+ Dog Rate - $105.00 - per night
Generous discounts for long-term stays. Inquire for rates regarding a long-term booking.

Check-in time is anytime between 8am-6pm
Puppy Rate - $75.00 per night
50% of the booking total is required for booking confirmation. Remaining balance is due on pick up day. All balances need to be paid in full prior to picking up.
DEPOSITS ARE NOT AN EXTRA FEE. DEPOSITS ARE A PRE-PAYMENT DEDUCTED OFF OF YOUR TOTAL FEE UPON PICK-UP. Deposits are due at the time of booking and are non-fundable due to the nature of being limited in booking capacity and it ensures a cancellation doesn't hurt us as a small business.
We book on a limited capacity therefore once a booking is confirmed I cannot accept further requests pertaining certain dates due to the limited availability.
Daycare
Daycare is one of our most popular services, especially for repeat clients. We pride ourselves on our professional yet fun approach, and do everything necessary to ensure your pets are safe, secure and happy here at Dogs Day Out and Stay.
Many of our Daycare dogs love our Pack Hike and can often be included in their Daycare day!

Pack Hike
I absolutely love getting out into the deep forested woods, my partner and I call nature home and so do our dogs!
We love breathing in the fresh air and moving our body! Hikes are 2-3 hours in length - reliable recall is ideal for off leash hiking enjoyment.
I do offer a long lead leash for those that want to join in but need a little help keeping safe and with the group!

Sara was excellent when we left our one year old boxer for 5 days. Durning the summers heat wave we were concerned about taking him camping with us. Sara took great care of our “baby”. He got wonderfully with her dogs and she was in constant contact with us - providing us updates along with photos and videos of Helix enjoying himself, getting loved on and overall being content. She is very experienced in dogs and her knowledge is apparent. We would not hesitate to leave our pup with Sara again!
